Buy a Ford and get at least 9 mpg. hahahahaha. When I was contracting for the Gov, I lived in a 5th wheel. 37 ft 5th wheel with a super slide out. The queen sized bed up top slid out also. She pulled hard coming out of Cheyenne and also out of Casper. Didn't think too much of it, was pulling with my old Ford. 1985 Ford, F250 that I ordered in 1984. Cat engine, 4 wheel drive, Dana 70 front and rear, all Timcon bearings, 3208 cat under the hood. Got home to Sheridan and decided to put her on the scales. Pulled onto the scales and dropped the Dolly's, wanted to find out what I was pulling. 27,500 pounds, no wonder it pulled hard. Still I got 14 mpg.

I wish I would have bought a Ford. The pickup has battery drain. If I let it set a couple of days the battery discharges. I ended up mounting a battery tender/charger in the pickup and leave it plugged in.

I've started working on the camper. Fixed the roof. So those leaks seem to be gone. Now to worry about windows. I am also thinking I will need to pop off some skin and take care of the plywood underneath. Fix windows. I am enjoying the work.
