Rave: When I said DH was going to be snapped up by local employers like chum thrown to sharks I wasn't kidding. The first job he applied to immediately called him for an interview. They told him they will submit a written offer, and that they hope he will find this offer lucrative enough to justify driving 45 minutes each way.
Rant: 90 minutes on the road every day... in good weather.
Rant: burning the candle at both ends.
Rant: seem to be spinning my wheels and accomplishing less and less after spending more and more time doing it.
Rave: will be in SD next month but not sure it will be an enjoyable trip.
Rant: Spent 2 hours today, pulling porcupine quills out of the neighbors dog.
Rant: Porcupine must have slapped him as he had quills around his mouth, neck and over 500 quills in his hind quarters.
Rant: Poor little guy was not a happy camper.
Rave: Put a stuck in his mouth and run duct tape around the stick, around the back of his head, and around the other end of the stick. Duct taped his front legs together and his hind legs together. Started pulling quills. Some were in over an inch deep.
Rave: Finished up, took all the duct tape off of him, stood him up and patted his head for a minute and he licked my hand. Made it all worth while.
Rave: Got the penicillin out and gave him a shot. Will give him a shot tomorrow and also on Thursday and he should be just fine.

Rave: My 05 Ford hasn't required any repairs in 20,000 miles of drive. Just regular maintenance.
