Yes, because the explanations given have been so clear that the people in this thread don't even agree on what it is about.

It's also known as International Workers' Day. It's a holiday for labor, basically. A more exact answer always varies depending on the responder's country of origin and politics.

I'm watching it on the news. It looks like a horde of bored hipster kids taunting a bunch of bicycle cops. They're all just staring at each other, and occasionally pepper spraying.

This appears to be just a dust-up at this point, and SPD has it under control. However, why Seattle seems to be a hot-bed for this type of activity baffles me.
