Well believe me when I tell you that he didn't represent the city as a whole.
I saw this van in Seattle. I believe that that must have represented the city as a whole.

That's actually fairly common. You also see a lot of full on art cars in certain neighborhoods.

Corner side pit bull delivery is a popular amenity for those people needing a new dog of questionable breeding on a regular basis.

It's not the same. San Francisco has some plateaus and valleys. Seattle hills tend to end in narrower ridges.. The hills, while every bit as steep are smaller and more numerous.

Remarkably I've never seen this type of service in all my years here. You seem to think its ubiquitous or something.

I love seattle, ya know? But I don't assume that the smelling half-dead homeless folks by the courthouse are representative of the city as a whole. Nor that disheveled crust punks begging for change are some sort of majority.

I especially love the north beach area that you live in, mkarch. It's beautiful. But I love my city as well, despite its flaws. There is a lot going for it that is hard to see from just a casual visit. Just had some friends visit from Seattle, both said they had a blast, that Baltimore was more fun, and that people were friendlier and more down to earth. Are they moving here? No, probably not - but a lot of what they thought they knew of Baltimore from the wire was dashed pretty quickly.

I congratulate you on your good fortune, mkarch, and if you ever return to Baltimore please message me for some insider tips. I promise you'll enjoy yourself more than you would expect.

I haven't been to every corner of Seattle, so I'm not sure. Has anybody else seen any? Would you like to see them become more prevalent in Seattle? What are your feelings on them? I personally like them and think they add character.
Please, no. Do not let foreigners ruin our town even more then it already is.
