Sorry I just get busy and forget to update it!

This is yet another example of how computers will keep advancing exponentially, along with 3D chips I have posted about.

One more example of a real world computer.

IBM Will Have A 200-Petaflop Supercomputer Ready by 2018

The US DOE is expecting a 200-petaflop supercomputer from IBM in 2018, which will be faster than the current record holder, China's TaihuLight

I have seen this. Just another example why I will make my current long term goal of becoming transhuman by 2030.

Default Obscure - all that dark, matter?

Why hasn't the Singularity gone mainstream (yet?)

Too inside the Orion's Belt?

Let's see ... Milky Way, One way, Belt way!

Really? Cyberbrains from Ghost in the Shell could become a reality during my lifetime?

Entertaining thread that I subscribed to awhile ago.

Exclamation StarTalk Radio With Neil deGrasse Tyson: A Conversation with Ray Kurzweil

This is actually a new and interesing interview with Ray Kurzweil. The reason I like it so much is who interviews him. That is Neil deGrasse Tyson on Star Talk.

They discuss the coming 3 revolutions: Biotechnology, nanotechnology and artificial intelligence. According to Ray Kurzweil we are already in the biotechnology revolution or life 2.0. I had thought by 2020 well we are here now. Welcome to life 2.0.

Funny as some of the things I was supposedly debunked on society now has. Two examples are Vive virtual reality and entering the biotech revolution with examples like CRISPR. In fact we are ahead of my so-called optimistic projections that some people said I had 4 years ago as I said the biotech revolution or life 2.0 would start around 2020 and here we are in 2016 and it has started.

Here are 2 more examples of how computers are racing towards the singularity. Some people keep saying computers will not keep advancing exponentially and that is why we will not reach the singularity by 2045. Well so far they could not be anymore more wrong as the rate of computers advancing is actually increasing as I predicted they would.

This is amazing and shows how the technology is advancing at a faster and faster exponential rate.

SanDisk just unveiled their newest prototype of a massive 1 terabyte SD card. The greater capacity will benefit those using more memory demanding formats like VR, 360-degree video, and seemingly ever increasing resolutions.
