Hi,

Could you please suggest. I'm married with no kids. My job location is in sunnyvale. I'm moving from raleigh
I'm fine to pay for a decent 1bkh ~600sft apt in 1500 in sunnyvale?. I'm finding it difficult to get.
Can you suggest any apartments / will i get any in 1400 (considering 100 for gas) in san jose or milpitas. I'm not finding many options.
Also i could find apartments around 1200 (considering 200 for gas) in fremont but how is the commute time (google maps show around 35 mins) in general?. Is it worth to stay there?. Please send me your suggestions.

Craigslist - and refine your search to each neighborhood, and price.

You may be able to find something in Fremont for that price. But, the commute will be 45 minutes to an hour during rush hour into Sunnyvale.

Do whatever you can to find a place in Sunnyvale.

You won't have to deal with freeway rush hour hell.

And Sunnyvale is low crime.

You can also try Santa Clara, which is next to Sunnyvale, if you can't find anything in S'vale.

I would also try to find something close by first to save on your commute time.

I heartily agree. When I worked in Sunnyvale. we rented an apartment there that was less than a 10 minute drive from work. We liked Sunnyvale.
