I got the job, signed on for 6 months.

Anyways - I start the first week of January, so unfortunately I will be celebrating my birthday officially alone (although I'll probably have an early party here in MinneSNOWta)

Default Michael Jackson called it Frisco

Although not a rapper, the late-great Michael Jackson referred to the City as "Frisco" in the hit "Blame it on the Boogie." The lyrics are "We spent the night in Frisco, in every kind of disco..." Can't blame a musician for using the term for rhyming purposes, but I think most people aren't referring to the art of music, but everyday usage, wherein most people prefer it not to be used...
