Brooklyn's is nothing special. Bronx is best. Lefty's different and v. good. Luigi's good.

Well, up here in Mira Mesa we go to Knockout Pizzeria. Thin, New York Style that is miles better than anything else close-by.

Default Great taste

Chicago Pizza on Magnolia in Santee is awesome! Cute little dine-in area available as well as carry-out or delivery.

One place that I used to go to (but haven't gone to in years due to personal issues) is Pizza Port in Carlsbad. They had great pizza and good food.

I should go back there again one of these days. I miss their pizzas.

Anyone ever try Sorrentino's in Clairemont? Victor is a Napolitano and his pizza reflects it, I've been back east for almost 10 yrs now and Sorrentino's is about the closest thing to a Back East pie as you're going to get out there.

It's on Clairemont Mesa Blvd close to Genessee (if it's still open).

FYI: The original Pizza Port is in Solana Beach. They have the same menu and may be closer to you depending on where you're coming from. Good pizzas and the beer buddies are good too.

I second Fat Tony's in Clairemont. This is where I go in Clairemont, and I'd say it's worth the trip.
