Does anyone travel from the San Diego area to the OC area via coaster?

Also how do you get from the train station to your specific destination? Is there some type of van or bus that takes you to a business district?

Any info is appreciated.

As far as I know the coaster stops in Oceanside as it is part of the San Diego County public transportation system. Where are you starting from and where are you trying to get to?

Yes, I don't believe the Coaster goes all the way to OC, you'd have to take a Coaster to Oceanside, and then get on an Amtrak to go up into Orange County (and that can get pricey). Also there are sometimes cabs at some of the stations in OC, and there are probably buses, but OC is not known for it's mass transit.

V. =)

The coaster stops at Oceanside. From there you would need to take Amtrak.

You never mentioned where in OC you are going to be working. OC is a big place. If you are thinking about SD to Irvine or Costa Mesa, just move to OC... North County SD is just about the same thing as OC anyway.
