If I had a digital camera I'd post a pic of the cottages. They weren't spanish cottages where you think beautiful 1920's Spanish revival. They were 1940's style. Plainer. And of course as cottages, they were small. But yes, the advertised price on the sign on the gate was $950 for a 2 bedroom. Naturally its been rented, but it did stay on the market for a month at least last fall.

i actually go here and compared to where I'm from, irvine, sdsu is totally ghetto. it's sort of got this vintage ****ty urban college feel to it. tons of old buildings everywhere the streets are small and cramped and if you drive 3 blocks south or west it gets pretty nasty. pretty low income area. lots of white trash some hispanics and some blacks. people actually use the bus in this part of town. lot of sketchy stuff goes on here, its a poor neighborhood populated by tons of college students and the low income residents, I was getting gas one time and this old ass white trash lady came up and casually asked me for a nickel so so she could take the bus, and when I said no, (I would've helped but I only had a credit card) she proceded to rummage through the garbage can infront of me for bottles or something. Yea it's that kinda place. On campus is safe though, plus tons of hot ass blondes and babes everywhere.
