For me I'm tired of the fairy tale commercials that AT&T & Cox are going back and forth with. Also the US-Lasik commercial comes on almost every break on so many channels it seems.

Any other local commercials that get on your nerves?

Those "Where the surf meets the turf at Del Mar" commercials are driving me bonkers!

Those Mossy Nissan commercials move me to push the mute button.

Any of those cheesy "it's your hometown" style San Diego Credit Union ones, in addition to all the mom-and-pop style commercials that cost 5 dollars to make and look like they belong in Stickville, Montana.

This commercial is no longer on the air, but about 3-4 years ago, the radio was full of these "Night Guard" commercials for a plastic retainer to keep you from grinding your teeth.

It prominently featured the amplified sound of actual teeth grinding, which was like fingers on a chalkboard. I couldn't get to the off button on my radio fast enough. And I'm sure other people did the same. If my advertisement were broadcast directly after that ad, I would have demanded my money back because 1/2 the audience would have been lost from people slamming the off button, and not turning it back on until they were absolutely sure that ad was over. I actually fantasized about complaining to the FCC on the grounds it was a profanity against our community standards.

a little off-topic, but one of the things that drive me nuts is when the radio news plays a story that features police sirens in the background. When I am driving in my car I immediately think there are cops or ambulances behind me!

On the same note, radio commercials for attorneys that feature the sound effects of a car crash. So unnerving!

On television, the ads for cheesy law firms. I wonder how many people with mesothelioma are watching?

See a theme here?

I like New York Myke and his Harley Davidson commercials, but the one he ran for a few weeks recently was kind of annoying. It was about some big celebration and he talked about the date, and would say "Saturday Night, yeah baby Saturday Night", after hearing it so many times it was very annoying. I'm glad that one is gone and he has a new one instead.

On the radio:
something like: "Life is a lease, rent carefully"
and
Mattess Discounters (sung)
