Hey, I just went to Fred's. Great pics - too bad it's the domain of all those plastic phonies.

Cowles Mtn. pix were great. I used to live on Golfcrest (about 17 years ago) and would walk to Cowles Mtn. and then hike it. My uncle would do it everyday--even on his bike, which is a great feat if you've ever seen the incline on Golfcrest. Anyone got some shots of Coronado and the Silver Strand? What about some of the hunky, SEALS in training ON the S.S.????

great pix! Used to come out there from Arizona several times each summer during college days. (and before that too). Have always loved it there. I wish I could afford to move there from Denver metro.

Sorry for the slow response. That pic was taken at Embarcadero Marina Park in downtown San Diego. On weekends during the summer, it full of people flying kites, laying out and picnicking.

FYI - nothing beats reading on the beach in your beach chair with a cooler next to you

^^Not sure who your comment was directed at, but because San Diego is such a photogenic city, anyone taking pictures around here can end up looking like a professional photographer

Just ask, and you shall receive

Contrary to popular belief, not all San Diegans live in tract homes made out of stucco, with 3-car garages. South Park and Morley Field are awesome neighborhoods located east of Downtown and Balboa Park.

Here's a peek at some of the wonderful houses in two of my favorite 'hoods...

Hope you enjoyed the tour!!
