This is a fairly typical small Kensington home:

Many larger Kensington homes sell for 2-3X that amount.

That home was gorgeous....Now I see why people want to move to San Diego...., but OMG the price...I live in a 1375 SQft. ranch home..in North Carolina....comparable neighborhood..but I paid under $100,000 for mine..Can't believe what they are asking for that house....Guess it's true what they say...."you get what you pay for"....LOCATION is everything.

And that house is actually next to a major commercial area. Noisy, major street. Really a bad location even for Kensington!

San Diego is definetely one of the most beautiful cities in the world if you are only looking at landscape....but it is also a part of the U.S. which makes it even better. I always thought the Croatian and Italian coasts were the most beautiful until I started looking at pictures of southern California...also what southern California has that Croatia and Italy don't is diversity..so many people from all over the world. Especially the beautiful Hispanic women.
It doesn't get better than San Diego.

Very nice, MAK802! My garden is blowing up, as well. It's really pretty this time of the year with the canyons/hills so green, and lots of wildflowers everywhere.
