Now, I live in New Mexico and have been taken by this year's three Lobo-Aztec games, eachl well-played and very close. I think this could be the beginning of a genuine rivalry. Does anyone agree?
It has been for about 10 years now!
Both teams have battled each other for tops in MWC for the last 10 years.
I'm rooting for New Mexico tonight against Stanford.
I really expect San Diego st to,man handle North Dakota st on Saturday. As Long as they play their game and don't try to go shot for shot with these guys. If we just play defense and kill them boards we'll win.

I'm just bummed that for the second straight year in the tourney, we have to face the media darling Cinderella team to reach the Sweet 16. NDSU has nothing to lose, all the pressure's on us. I hope we avoid another Florida Gulf Coast game like last year. We're better, more athletic ... but that doesn't mean anything in the tournament. We have to bring our best game tomorrow or it's over.

Was hoping they would play against Gonzaga instead of U of A. Perhaps they'll get revenge for their loss to the Wilcats earlier this season.

We still Have 3 Teams From California in the Tournament
Take that East Coast bias.
We have our hands full against Arizona, but it's a winnable game. We were down by 4 with a min to go in the first game. We can't have, 1 offensive rebound in the first half against Arizona again.
I'm calling my shot: SDSU by 4 over Arizona

The times are changing. All five of our North Carolina teams are gone.

I'm betting the atmosphere at the Honda Center will be nuts. Fans from both schools will easily make the trip but I think it'll be sweet having The Show there. Go Aztecs!
