I'm moving from out of state due to my job. My business has offices in San Bernardino and Riverside. I'm looking for safe, quiet apartment complex in reasonable driving distance. I'm single, no kids, no pets, so I don't have any of those concerns. Just looking for advice on good areas to live and areas to avoid. And in those areas you would recommend, I would appreciate any advice regarding apartments to consider and those to avoid. Many thanks for your help.

While we were searching in Riverside, we found quite a nice, newish complex called Broadstone Vesada... they are on rent.com and the only reason we didn't rent there was because it was too far for DH to commute.

Lots of amenities: fitness center, business center, w/d in unit, some units have fireplaces and they weren't outrageously priced either.

Even though San Berndoo and Riverside arent very far away. I would suggest two completely different lists of cities for each. Make a decision and let us know. Both have a good list.

I agree that Grand Terrace would a be good spot - it's right in-between San Bernardino and Riverside. There's lots of great areas in Riverside as well - check out the Canyon Crest area or there's several apartment complexes right off Box Springs Road and the 215/60 freeway.

Why not ask someone who doesn't live in the IE, but lives in Las Vegas! Safe? Quiet? Clean Air? Why not just move to Bangkok, Thailand and be done with it. My guess is that 40% of Vegas is from the 909, (they always say SOUTHERN California), if you want to move there, be my guest. Hope you like neck tattoos and wife beater shirts. The men are a different story altogether. Check out Wikipedia if you don't believe me. Try Jersey, instead. Summit, Far Hills, Ridgewood. These are nice places.
