Agreed! My husband "only" has to commute 45 miles (each way!) to Poway everyday, and I even classify that as brutal. That being said, there are a lot of people who make these long drives and feel that it's worth it. If you're accustomed to a long commute already, you might be okay.....but if you're not, and you have a family, it will likely wear on you very quickly.

How is the commute from Temecula / Murietta to March ARB at 9-10 am? Would I miss most of the heavy traffic then, or is it still quite heavy?

I think you would be fine at that time. It tends to be heavier in the early morning and late afternoon. By late afternoon I mean, like 2-3 pm.

If you will commute to 215 traffic ant that bad. If you commute to 15 then it will get bad at the junction. Other than that Temecula is good.

I have been through the Temecula area and it is very dry. Does it have access to water or is it another drought community that has to conserve and ration?

Yes Temecula has access to water, we can turn on our tap and it comes out...It's amazing.

FYI, all of Southern Ca gets about the same amount of rain per year and are drought communities that should conserve water.

But is it true home prides are going up 'considerably' with bidding wars to boot. And investors are scooping up all the vacant or foreclosed homes there?

Ive been told to look into Winchester for good value, prices and good schools.

Yes Home prices are going up. We bought in Nov 2009 and paid 280k, currently the floorplan house just down the street is asking 399k. Craziness.

Time to start pulling out some equity and buy that BMW I want.
