Thank you everyone for their insight! I will be looking into all the possibilities the next weekend. I will report back on my findings, lol.

We purchased our fridge, washer, dryer and dishwasher from the scratch and dent place on Broadway.

(dishwasher purchased later, others purchased upon moving in to the house)

We are happy with the appliances, delivery and installation AND current and past performance of said items.

Whatever you do don't go to appliance mart. We had to take an AC unit back 3Xs. We finally got our money back. They do have great customer service and worked around the faulty equipment. Besides having to lug an ac unit back 3 times they weren't so bad

I've bought from there twice. Had to return a refrigerator and swap it for a different model, which was a bit of a hassle, but I still feel like the discount made the effort worthwhile.

It wouldn't cool. Since it was under manufacturer's warranty, a manufacturer's rep was sent out to fix it and he refused, saying that it had a "salvage" mark on it, which indicated it was defective and should have been junked. The hassle was that I didn't find out that it didn't cool until it was delivered. It took half an hour of phone calls and most of a week to get the manufacturer's rep out to my house.

ApplianceSmart agreed to replace it. I learned my lesson and made them plug in the replacement and I hung around for half an hour to make sure that it cooled. We've had that fridge for over a year and it's been great.

I'd use them again. The savings was worth the hassle.
