Where I am from in Texarkana, TX, we had this place called Builders Depot which sold all kinds of scratch and dent home improvement and building supplies for really cheap. Is there a place like that in San Antonio? From searching the forums, I see the Habitat for Humanity Home store and maybe the Guadalupe Lumber co Bargain Barn. I haven't actually checked either of them out, but it sounds like one of those might be what I'm looking for. Are there any other places that sell stuff like this?

Just as you stated, the Habitat for Humanity store is probably your best bet. There is one on Walzem Rd. near the intersection of Midcrown.

There's another one on the West side, at Marbach & 410.
