Temps in the low 40s and wind chills in the 30s in late March, how sweet is that! Loving it obviously

Took my Mom to the airport this morning at 6:30; it was hailing so hard we couldn't hold a conversation in the van! She even suggested we turn around home, but I informed her it was just another example of the interesting weather we get here in San Antonio!

Got back home to find pea-sized hail in the front garden...

Luckily, my little thin-skinned Toyota survived unscathed!

Cheers! M2

We have a little pile in our front yard too M2. It's in the shade and since it's still cold no rush to melt LOL. I had to do a double take when I saw it.

I had hail about that size in my yard, and when we went out on 1604 today I saw piles of it melting on 1604.

I am not too happy about the weather right now, but not surprised at all. Good thing is, it's Texas and will change!

I *almost* decided to ignore the last frost date and plant tomatoes last week. I didn't quite get finished with my soil prep, and felt like a slacker for being so far behind. Whew! That was a close one...
