I do that as well when needed but its still nice to have a branch close by...depending on what services are there.

It will be nice when USAA won't require you to have a credit card or loan through them to be able to use the deposit at home feature. I don't use credit cards, and don't need a loan.

I don't have a credit card or loan, and I have deposit at home. Hmmm...

Can the branch accept cash? That's my trouble, depositing cash.

Actually the main branch off I-10 has a banking entrance and small public parking lot. There are tellers that would be happy to accept your cash.

Sounds like USAA is rolling out a few of these "branches" which apparently aren't much more than a standing kiosk with a USAA representative there to assist. I still am not sure about what services will be available though.

USAA banking is great, they truly do care about your customers. That said, it does not hurt to open an account at a local credit union where you are physically located. They are just about anywhere.

I have multiple bank accounts, some are online only.

Yeah, I am aware. I am a former employee with them. The issue I had was going to the branch location at 12:30 pm on a Saturday just to be turned away and not being able to make it to the I10 location.

You should be able to deposit the cash via the atms located inside. The facility has a financial advisers as well as a few reps to assist with insurance needs.

I dont think its supposed to be a bank but rather a facility to handle banking and other product needs.
