I e-mailed Costco about this a few weeks ago, and they said

"Currently we do not have any public information regarding plans to open a Costco in your area.

Our real estate personnel are continually looking for ideas for new
locations around the country and around the world.

We will forward your suggestion to our Real Estate Department so they are aware
of your interest."

But I did get this link for new locations.

I sent a similar request a while back to Security Service Federal Credit Union and asked them if they plan to build a branch at Potranco and Loop 1604. They said they're not considering it at this time but will pass on my suggestion.
Thanks for the info Aquajox.

Let us not forget the 1 million plus square foot retail center planned for Stevens Ranch, although almost 5 miles west of 1604, it'll still add to the far west area retail.

Hey, Disney sounds nice, but I really love Busch Gardens. It would be nice if they could come to San Antonio.

Busch Gardens is great if you love flowers and plants (hence the "gardens" in the title). We hated Busch Gardens and only really liked the jungle trek and Gwazi. Besides, Sea World is the same thing with less flowers.

Disney will never come to San Antonio....you can take that to the bank. End of Disney coming to San Antonio discussion (fingers crossed)

Back on track, why is the Best Buy gonna be so small at AR Marketplace?! I was also looking forward to a Costco being put up there.

For that matter, does anyone know what is going on a little farther down 151 past Hunt where the new Rogers Road is connecting? They cleared all of that off in the last few weeks.

As far as Costco goes. . . I swear their logo is on the new sign at Alamo Ranch.

seriously? I need to check that out next time I'm there, I love that place, but the last one I saw was in Monterey..

anybody ever thought of a walmart boycott? I hate the location of that new one (I live in Westcreek) and actually, I pretty much just despise walmart as a whole.. their cat food killing my cat was the last straw and I haven't been in one ever since. HEB+, Super Target and the commissary are all I really need..
