This might be a really stupid question but here goes.

This is my first visit to SA. I will not have a car to explore the city, so I am trying to get to a place where I can get on the trolly to take that around to see the sites. My question is what is the easiest way to get to this trolly besides walking the 1 1/2 mile? I will be near 1010 S Flores. I think the Alamo is where I can pick up the trolly. Should I take a cab? Is there a bus? Any help would be really appreciated.

There are trolly stops right next to the 1010. Next to 1010 is San Antonio Housing Authority (SAHA) and there is a stop in front of there. I would recommend walking up the river to the Alamo in the morning when it's not too hot, downtown is less then a mile walking up the river.

32 men from Gonzales made it to the Alamo on horseback, surrounded by Santa Anna's army.
I'm confident you will make it there.
Have a nice visit to our city.

Great answer!

But seriously, you will be a stone's throw to trolley stops, and quite literally anywhere downtown. Once you get here, your concerns will go away.

Be sure when you're planning your trip, that you put in the correct date and time. I did a quick one just now without seeing that part, and it didn't find anything, since there's no bus for that route at midnight.
