Thank you. That looks like a lot of fun and not to far of a drive.

This year it will be 12/18 & 12/19. We've gone each year and have enjoyed it!

Schlitterbahn supposedly has a neat Christmas Village set up. Never been, but may go this weekend.

I come from a large family and very few of us still live in San Antonio even though we all grew up here. After we get together for Christmas dinner (usually at my sister's house in Helotes) we like to drive around the city and look at neighborhoods we grew up in, schools we went to, homes our deceased relatives owned, old landmarks we remember. The nice thing about doing this on Christmas day is that every thing is closed and the streets are mostly empty-all afternoon. Even downtown. It is the only day of the year, that I know of, when it is like this.

They have a Cowboy Christmas coming up at Enchanted Springs Ranch | San Antonio Attractions, Things to do in San Antonio. They even have two reindeer there. I think one was named Snowflake or Snowball which is a bit funny as I wonder if they ever seen snow.

Has anyone been down to the Riverwalk to check out the lights? If so, has it been pretty packed?
