It's a city college. It's easy as pie education. I went there and then transferred to Sac State.

Understand only about 25% of people who go to a city college will ever graduate from a university.

Try for pell grants, I never paid for city college at all.

Now, I hear it's a bit more "rough" then it used to be. It's a bit dirty. But it's in a lovely area of Sacramento called Land Park. And I dearly, miss Espresso Metro. Only place I could get a walnut latte.

I'm going into the PTA program. I am from Des Moines. Even our community colleges aren't easy, so maybe I'm in for a break, then?? I guess time will tell. It's one of the few schools in CA that offers the degree I want. I was hoping it'd be a nice place. Thanks for your reply.

My experience has been the community colleges aren't more or less difficult than at the CSU courses.

Anybody who says SCC is easier than 4 year universities didn't take any real classes. And this is coming from a very smart person.

Ukiah, eh? I have only passed through Ukiah but visited Willits quite a bit--a beautiful little town. In some ways it reminds me of a slice of Midtown up in the redwoods.

Yes, there are a few similarities, albeit on a much smaller scale.

Our neighborhoods can be a bit uneven here, but are also very unique. Homes all look very different from eachother and no major strip malls for the most part. I like living here, and do wonder what it will be like living in a big city environment again after so many years of small town living.

I am looking into rentals in the south landpark region or greenhaven pocket area. I need an affordable small house that is near some good middle schools. I would prefer a house, but if need be i am open to a nice apartment complex. Can anyone here tell me about good complexes in those areas?
