Hi-
My girlfriend is going to UC-Davis for her postdoc and internship, so we will be relocating to Davis sometime in June. I've not been able to find a rental home or condo/duplex that will accept our two 60 lb German Shepherd mixes. I've looked in both Davis and parts of Sacramento with less than good luck.

Do any of you know of places that will accept us?

Thanks!

Homeowners policies don't like the breed German Shepherd, it is a liability, so maybe your dogs are actually black and tan mixed breed companion dogs?

Stonegate Apartments in West Davis- no breed or weight restrictions. You could also expand your search to Woodland, since there's never traffic on 113 and the commute wouldn't be bad. If you wanted to look in Sac, try Water's Edge Apartments on Riverside and Fruitridge.

I would look exclusively in West Davis. That part of Davis is very friendly in general to large breed dogs.
