Hey everyone, My fiance and I will be moving to Davis in the end of July. She will be attending law school and I will be working(most likely in sac). We are looking for a nice house with a fenced in yard that allows pets and not spend more than ~$1800 a month, hopefully this will get us what we want. I've been checking the local newspaper online and craigslist but most dont have pictures and there is not much to look at. From what I've read on the davis wiki is that there are a lot of "slum" lords because of the campus. We're planning on going up to check out the area in June but I'd really like to get the ball rolling on finding a place asap.

Anybody have suggestions on a good realtor to work with in finding a place? Also are there any other websites I could check out for rentals? Thanks for the help.

Most rentals don't seem to place in the paper. I notice signs up on lawns but they don't stay long. Not sure what they are asking.
