Greetings,
I currently live in Las Vegas Nevada and got hired for a job in Rancho Cordova. I have been through the forums and have gotten a lot of mixed reviews with it not being a safe area and people talking about shootings and people breaking in cars. I am moving there at the end of this month and would like to get info as far as good places to live not far from Rancho Cordova. Any advice for from anyone in the area would greatly be appreciated as to what areas to avoid as well as good apartment complexes in the area.
Thanks
Chris

Also one thing that would be tuff is that I will not be able to go to the area before I move the end of this month. Im packing the moving truck and heading to California hoping that by that time I would have found a place.
Thanks guys for your time and help

There are a couple of apartments located near Hazel Ave, on the north side of Folsom Blvd. This is just to the east side of Rancho Cordova, and I'd recommend you go and look there.

Also, there is a nice apartment complex to the north of Rancho Cordova, in an area called Gold River. This is on the east side of Sunrise Blvd, on Gold Express Drive.

I know a lot of apartments require you to have a paycheck stub as well but since I was hired for a job and relocating any advice as to how to work around that? I would be making 50,000 a year but do not start work until april 7th. I of course will have money saved to pay rent for the first couple months.

I believe the apartment house just to the east side of the small shopping center on the north east side of Hazel and Folsom is called Oak Brook Apartments. The apartments to the north west of that area, on Tributary Point Drive, is called Cobble Oaks.

Rancho Cordova might remind you of Henderson in many ways.
