Seattle averaged around 65F
Sacramento averaged around 73F

Phoenix averaged around 104F

June 24, 2021 10:00AM (PST) in the morning

The heat index (feels like) temps for cities beyond the west usually have significantly higher temps than recorded/standing temps so heat index temps are listed.

San Antonio 100F
New Orleans 99F
Atlanta 81F

Sacramento 69F
Seattle 66F
Portland 65F

Way too cold, never any decent Pool weather, and you would never swim in the horrible Bay, there are no decent beaches either for wading and leisurely summer swimming. Alameda is a joke for any decent leisurely real time summer swims, freeze your putooti-off most of the time. This is why San Diego blows out Oakland for any real time summer outdoor water enjoyment.

Sacramento has fresh water rivers and lakes for real time summer bbqs and swims. Not to mention, nothing better than a Sacramento summertime backyard Pool, way too cold to enjoy any of those in Oakland.
what decade were you last there??? seriously doubt that is still true. SF isn't cold anymore either.

Lol, I batted my eyes, and blushed when you said that,

....even though its not completely true.

I could have listed every day all these great weather days we've been having as individual posts, rather, I wrapped them up in one post. And, you know I summarize all the days of the last month pretty much every month except for maybe a few winter months.

I also could have posted "for days" about the forecasted cool-comfortable days in advance, but I don't. I've leave that to the meteorologists as I'm not in the forecasting business and it detracts from this thread which is to record and discuss what actually occurred.

June 25, 2021, (PST) 3PM in the afternoon

Phoenix 106F
San Antonio 104F
Portland 90F

New Orleans 90F

Sacramento 88F
Seattle 87F
Atlanta 84F

San Francisco 57F - this is the wind chill recording, not heat index, as it is almost NEVER WARM in SF even in the dead of Summer. (60F standing temp, if sheltered from the wind)

Good for them, our friends from Oakland and Alameda love to come to our Pool parties in Sacramento because they can never take their shirts off outside without "freezing" in Oakland and they love a little Sacramento warmth and sunshine when lounging at the Pool.

June 25, 2021, 7:45PM (PST)

San Francisco wind chill 51F

Oakland wind chill 56F

Sacramento 78F Excellent evening swim weather, perfect breezes.

Portland 86F
Seattle 88F, Oh my Sacramento is cooler than the PNW, happens more often than you would think. 10 degrees Cooler!

San Antonio 96F heat index
