I did not receive any advice from that person. Anyone following this thread can see that I provided that person with rock solid advice and also taught him how to estimate a ceiling for a property by comparing a sale of a larger and better house.
That person has repeated the same false information dozens of times - hoping that it eventually sticks.

I don't need to go back nor does anyone else. We all know exactly how this played out. I provided you with terrific advice and also taught you how to estimate a ceiling for a property you were considering. You took it as a slight for some reason, refused to acknowledge that you were wrong, and then chose to twist my words and add in some other nonsense to try to make it look like I was wrong. Your pride really did get the best of you.
New Englander, you need to look at 2050 flood maps.
And don't just look at whether or not your property will be in a flood zone. Look at the nearby area. Even if your property will be fine, it's possible that a new bridge will need to be built to get to your property. I don't know how much that will matter, but it's something to be aware of and to take into consideration.
I’ve posed that question a number of times. I can only conclude that it’s a real crap hole which is why he singles out places that are worse. Furthermore, I suspect he rents. The two of them are really bizarre behavior.
