Jamestown isnt middle class its "upper middle class." Everyone has their own way of describing these things but I use wealthy, upper middle class, middle class, and lower middle class, and then poor. Upper middle class being 6 figure income
thats one step below "wealthy". Lower middle class is like "working class." Middle class would be like less than 6 figure income and not wealthy enough to live in a place like Jamestown but enough to live in many decent places.

But there are still true "middle class" people on the island, despite what some here would want one to believe.

It's definitely an affluent community, but that's independent of my original comment.

Probably shouldn't confuse social class with income class. Jamestown is one the highest (if not the highest) income communities in Rhode Island. But, it has a diversity of social class which runs the gamut from working poor to what would be commonly described as upper class. I will say, the new money in town is much, much bigger money, than the old money. Even taking into account, that new money often shouts.

This is very close to the Cranston line. It is also near Johnson & Wales.

"An NBC 10 News crew saw multiple shell casings on the ground. It wasn't immediately known if anyone was injured in the shooting."

Why don't they just listen to Elorza?
