I notice when I realize how long someone has been dead.
1982 was 40 years ago. That is when we lost Grace Kelly, John Belushi, and Vic Morrow. 3 deaths that were major news. Car accident, OD, and decapitation. Doesn't seem that long ago when we heard about it on the news.
We all agree time is relative, subjectively. A fun time goes quickly...solo quiet time drags on. The question is how will you spend it, with whom (or no one) and how will you be remembered, if at all--excluding family members. Longevity doesn't guarantee remembrance. Depressing subject, if you are not so happy.

As someone who is working from home, and has been since 2020, every day runs into the next. There's not much differentiation between "work time" and "personal time." Weekdays and weekends aren't differentiated that much. Especially in the winter, time crawls by.
