Secretary Mnuchin stated that wealthy people will not get a check. He did not define what a wealthy person was/is.

For those who do not want a check but receive one. Just TEAR IT UP. That money in that check will stay in the treasury.

For the conspiracy theory folks. All illegal immigrants will receive 2 checks.

And "Welfare Queens" will get 4-6 checks each. lol

They shouldn't be sending checks to retirees. If they do, I will donate it to my neighbor who is a single mom. She takes in dogs as a side income and that won't be happening for awhile. She's barely working now. We have to help each other in these times. I will give the tenants a break as well.

I told my son if I get a check I'll give it to him. He's 29 and could use it more than me.

What about the retirees who monthly have to decide.. do i buy groceries or pay for my medications? Retirees who get the minimum amount from SS monthly?? A 1,000 check would be such a huge help for them. How can that be ignored?

i read that yes retirees and those on SS will get one. But there is an income limit.

exactly! If it has to be done quickly - just set an income level cut-off and go from there.
