You sound like a great candidate for self employment, there is a ton of small companies that are not too savvy in their financial understanding and need others to sort out the best direction to take in that regard. I utilized a retired IRS audit/accounting guy during my years as a business owner, he was the best thing to come along in some time in my case. Consulting with small operators with regard to the complexities of financial strategies and tax plans is a matter of getting out there with your business card and introducing yourself. Study some sales training tactics and see what you can round up as a supplemental income or possibly a full time gig. Best of luck to you..
