I have the power to take an instant nap anytime, anywhere, by just closing my eyes.

I'm not sure, because I have my eyes closed, but I may become invisible.

"Superpower" is probably an exaggeration for most of us, at least I know it is in my case, but I do have the ability to focus on details and get them right at the same time I am seeing the big picture. A couple of supervisors commented on how I see the big picture and I think they were right. Sorry if it sounds like bragging, but I am answering the OP's question honestly.

Yes, ER, you got my question. Of course I overstated by using the term, superpower. But I think it conveys what I am thinking of--that talent, knack, or acquired skill that you have that is the best thing you do. I know we all have many talents.

As I said before, I am disappointed that mine is so mundane. But, to each her own. I really enjoy reading what the superpowers of others are. And I've gotten a good laugh from time to time.

People who post in this forum are the best!

My superpower is when confronted with a problem I can't solve and it is something important to me, I will often go to bed, fall asleep and when I wake up the answer will be right there in my head.

I have a couple more superpowers but I am going to keep them a secret for a while longer.

I don't need a super power, God is my friend .
Though I did really crummy in school, scholastically I figure that they pushed me through school just be rid of me.
But my mixed professions gave me a very rounded education that gave me the advantage over many others that excelled in school way better than I.
It's given me an edge in engineering equipment and fabrication for equipment that works flawlessly still today.
The creative gene is in my family to some degree but in a most natural way , it's not like any emphasis has ever been made with in the family, it just happens.
I guess to some degree it takes a certain amount of courage to venture into things one has never done before, and I suppose that some might feel that it's a bit fool hardy, but every experience has things to learn that often apply in to other jobs in life.

My father was like that, too. He had to leave school at age 12 after his father died in an accident and go to work to support the family. So not a lot of book learning. Years later, when he had a family and I came home from school with an algebra problem I was not able to figure out, he would ask me to tell him what it was, after supper he would lay down for a half hour, get up and tell me the answer. Only problem was he could not tell me how he arrived at the correct answer and that is what the teacher wanted....... how did I figure it out.

One of my superpowers is to remember what you tell me about your loved ones; kids, siblings, parents, pets names and circumstances and ask you about them months later.

Don't know why, but I'm genuinely interested.
