The G5 was a very limited run model from GM before it went into bankruptcy and phased out Pontiac. I can't remember the last time I saw one in the flesh.
I would lean to them being more on the feminine side of the spectrum though. I don't know too many guys that have owned Cobalts, but I know quite a few females who have and Pontiac 2-doors (Grand Am, Sunbird, etc) have historically had an even stronger connection with female consumers.
i asked about this car because I have a thing for a co worker ( a woman, yes). 58 going on 39 if you know what i mean. i saw her getting out of the car (which from a distance looked very sporty and premium.) i noticed it was a Pontiac G5 and i wondered what type of people would buy this kind of car. is it an attractive older women's car, for example. maybe it was a G6, isn't there a G6 too?

That's the stereotype. It's a relatively cheap unrefined car that from a distance looks more upscale/faster sportier than it actually is. There were a few notable exceptions (GXP), but most pontiacs were cheap flashy junk in their later years.
