Omnipotent = all powerful, unlimited power to create

Create as in Creator. God made us. And we make stuff we create stuff music and art and buildings and inventions. Not scary at all. We also create other stuff that is scary wars and hatred and atrocities. Note to self don't make bad stuff.
Nice.

How to construct a God: by Tzaphkiel

Easier than the Empire State Building with Legos.

That's an irrelevant question, because scientists don't believe the universe was created by random chance.

Gods who are less than all-powerful are not gods, but demigods or just powerful beings of some kind.
we are part of the more complex system. Either way, you're more powerful or my we are part of it, means theists have it right to a degree. and so do atheists.

About the only sides that have it wrong are the "deny everything to minimize" a claim to fit a worldview or "it means god because its vastly more powerful"

that's what matters. not personal emotional statements of belief or personal needs determining a statement of belief.

but you don't do facts do you, they get in the way of your agenda.

scientists actually don't have a clue to how it started.

(Still waiting for your answer to why that "creeps you out" infinity and eternity that is. You said that on another thread a few days ago.)
sorry tzap.

The word "creeps" was tossed in there for flavor. nothing special.

"nothing forever" or 'something forever". that's what we have as our choices and people can pick which one. For something like this its not always about which one is more valid, its about which one we are less comfortable with. Like the presidential election this year, it wasn't about who was better. It was about which piece of poo we were less comfortable choosing (sticking our faces in so to speak).

Last time I checked, God is the only Omni-god around.

And long-dead, anonymous guys dreamed him up.

Which leaves the truth elsewhere.
