This time, I DID scour the internet to find these. Want to guess the time frame of these 19 incidents? The past TWO weeks. TWO weeks!

Apologists, do you still don't think that church leaders ARE a problem? Do you really think that members need to stop making excuses, but do all they can to flush these cretins out of your organizations?

What a bunch of sick individuals who deserve NO forgiveness. But please, continue let the religious right pretend like kids are more in danger in public bathrooms than in church. We've seen the laws proposed to "protect" kids in public bathrooms in theBabbleâ„¢ belt. Where are the laws protecting kids in church? Why don't the responsible leaders have a concerted effort to drive these bastards out early and often, as opposed to making excuses, obfuscation, deflection and denial.

If you're not sick to your stomach by just one of these incidents, never mind nineteen in a two week period, I am concerned about your humanity.

Yes, I do have an agenda. The agenda is to weed out these dangerous hypocrites who are in a position of moral trust, and that abuse not only that trust, but their victims. There is no excuse, and worse, there is no urgent and maintained drive to expose and keep these cretins out of their respective ministries.

Even worse, many adherents to the faiths will try and obfuscate, deny and ignore those crimes. Your deflection is not what is needed; what is needed is a plan by members of the various faiths to deal with the problem.

Probably true, but truck drivers as a group do not present themselves as the arbiters of morality. The same is true of every other group up there. Even the police don't present themselves as being above the law.

Clergy stand up at the front of the room and tell the rest of us how we should live our lives, while at the same time, many of them are simply abhorrent people.

Please tell us why clergy, as a group, should be granted any more respect in the moral arena than a randomly assembled group of file clerks?

Sounds like you are obsessed with this subject matter. Let's just burn down every church right? That's the only way to meet your "agenda".

Jeff, why don't you champion getting rid of these cretins in your branch of religion? I'm just the messenger, and I am shocked that there were 19, NINETEEN incidents in the past 2 weeks. That is a pattern, not an exception. It was in only a 2 week period, Jeff. Not 2 months, or 2 years. Two weeks!

Why would you rather make inane comments like "burn down every church"? Why don't you have an issue with this rampant problem? Why are you not railing against it, as it is people like you, inside your faith, who can change this. If you want to.

Do you want to change this? Or are you A-OK with it as long as they preach brimstone and hellfire?

So you think that what these clergy men did is normal and perfectly ok? Christians should be at the forefront of addressing and stopping these atrocities, not attacking the messenger.....What is wrong with you?

they shouldn't. I could shoot them, after they dig their hole, of course. Nothing makes me sicker when people give these people any rights beside jail time in general population.

wonder who thinks these guys have rights? not any catholic I know personally, that is for sure. But remember, I had normal parents and hang around normal people. well, sorta normal.

no, what we need to understand is that adult children of abuse have a world view. Some of them get it, and some of them don't.

He is not totally wrong here either. The predator hunts where there is food ... Its that simple. And It is true.
