4601 Pimlico Road, Baltimore, MD For Sale | Trulia.com

It's right by Park Heights so it can't be good. Is the stats saying where the house sits on is "safer" block, not necessarily mean "safe" outside a minute of it?

Is Pimlico a so-so area? Not so good, but not the worse of Baltimore, right?

I am guessing the map is based off of incidents reported per block or zone. Its possible that the house in question is on a block that has the fewest reported incidents. You know how Baltimore can vary block by block. Pimico is so so especially in Clyburn but not the greatest.

Cylburn goes the closer you get to Pimlico Road going west from Greenspring Ave... The portion near Greenspring and Sinai is much better

I believe it is a neighborhood called nice/neat little neighborhood called Levindale....Cylburn is to its south, Mt. Washington to the north; Coldspring Newtown, the east; and Pimlico to the west. At one time this area was part of "greater" Park Heights. I think realtors and boosters from Levindale and Cylburn cried foul and have been working to extricate themselves from the PH moniker.

I think they meet along with the larger Cylburn Association. The city has a live near your work program and some of the nurses and techs from sinai live over there i believe they got down payment and closing cost assistance to purchase over there. Its really a comfortable little gem with in walking distance of the arboretum i wish it was in the mt wash school zone that would give it a boost. Righr now i believe its pimlico elementary zone

The city has a bundled vacant properties for disposition for a swath of vacants along woodland ave on both sides of PH ave and along pimlico ave. If they can clean up pimlico ave with new housing using Cylburn and Levindales stability the area may have a chance to stabalize. The jockey just sold a portion of a track parking to sinai hopedully they add to their campus and the rest of the track is sold and redeveloped
