This one is for me. about a week ago,while bending down,I bent sideways and pulled at the same time. I hurt my left ribs real bad.I put ice pack when I went home.It still hurts a lot. I think I pulled my muscle real hard and twisted it. I am still in pain. Please pray for me so I will recover soon. Thanks!

This prayer request is for my family who is trying to leave New Orleans before Gustav arrives. They are trying to make it to my home in Richmond but the traffic is terrible and the heat is stifling. There are gas stations with no gas, hotels with no rooms and this situation will take a miracle to get through.

I want to let you all know of some good news...
Our cousin, the one fighting cervical/uterine cancer, has had some success with the tumor shrinking... she will be coming HOME!... if she can remain in good health... please keep her in your prayers as her children will be starting school this week and she wants to be with them instead of 1/2 way across the country... thanks for all who have kept her in your prayers...the power of prayer is so great.
