All American believers should be living in large houses with swimming pools and have at least three upscale cars in their garages.
You don't? What is wrong with you? Haven't you been blessed enough? Did you forget to pray for wealth?
Wealth sure works for the evangelists? Why not for you?

I dont understand the question- maybe it is meant in sarcasm

most of us were taught as kids- you work hard, try hard you can be rewarded-

just a few generations ago our grandparents went thru a depression and wars- many went hungry, despair was rampant, but also, most parents worked themselves to the bone, so there kids would have a better life-this attitude continued for many generations, parents wanting there kids to go to college-do better than they did.
wealth is defined differently by different people, some folks are rich with family and friends and not possessions, some folks play by the rules, get a good education, and can earn a good wage that can buy a decent house - also, compared to many years ago, there are two incomes in most houses, not just the man working.

shall ye sow, so shall you reap

also keep in mind-because of the wars, most of us have had family members that have died for our freedoms, and part of that freedom, is choices, and if its a choice of a nice house and cars, and you can afford it- whats wrong with that?

The evangelists get rich off the rest of them. After all, the shepherd makes money, not the sheep.

all i wanted was enough,
to escape, buy my own freedom, take care of my parents
it is a tool and a weapon of defense. it can be used for good or evil. it can accomplish much for good.
but without money you cant do good. you are powerless.
jesus was buried by a rich man - the burial was done against the wishes of those who murdered him
w/o money and power he would not be able to do that.

The average evangelist is worse than used car salesmen. At least with the car salesmen, one can trade in or sell what they bought. With the evangelist, what you paid for was his car (the biggest Cadillac parked in front of the church) and his house (the biggest house in the worst side of town). Heck, I even know a few guys whose wives left them for the "preacher man". I guess I would've done the same thing if my man was "broke" and the preacher man could afford to buy me diamonds.

And when they get to heaven they will find that they are very poor. They use the material excuses that money gets you to heaven. If they spent time loving one another instead of spending money, their rewards would be far richer than all those material posessions combined.

I'd much rather live life as a poor human being and love everyone than have all the money in the world with posessions out the wahhoo.
