Since no one answered my question in the Do You Save/Burn Ex's Photos? thread, I'll just start a new thread for it.

For those of you who get rid of ex's pictures, (and those of you who don't...) do you also get rid of the gifts they've given you?

I have pretty much kept everything, unless it broke, or wore out. I might not use, or display the items, but they're packed away somewhere.

I also don't hate any of my ex's, but if I did, I probably wouldn't keep everything then.

I kept some of the stuff for awhile. Once I got married pretty much anything given to me by a guy was given away. I still have a few pictures, but not many.

Honestly, I've always been the gift giver. Things I want, the ladies couldn't afford

So, they're like "Oh..." and they let go.

But I got nice clothes instead and I still keep them. Gifts are gifts. It's childish to give them back

Yes I still have both the teddy bear and pink cat. I hope no one throws them away because I would be upset since they got no rights tossing away part of my life...

I believe I did answer your last question. As far as this question...it all depends on what it is. Everyone is different in regards to what is worth keeping versus what you can get rid of. Items, I will keep, pictures are for the trash can.

IMO, everything is worth keeping if they weren't abusive nor cheaters and if the break-up didn't ended into a horrible argument.

The ex gave me some wonderful gifts -- five children. I'll keep them.

One of the best gifts she gave me after 25 years was to leave me. I'll keep that one too!
