That’s too hot! I’m getting crabby just thinking about it.
It’s only a high of 52 here today, temps already in the 30s overnight. So I’m looking forward to Las Vegas at the end of the month!

I hope everything’s going better for you, mlj1225

It's supposed to be 97 here today. The worst part is I have no A/C, and there's toxic wildfire smoke wafting outside my window, so I couldn't even open up the windows last night to cool the house off.

For real, what is going on in Cali? Apparently the weather there didn’t get the memo that it is October. I’m pretty sure I’m making another LA trip near the end of the month and really hope this doesn’t keep up.

It's just annoying! I am SO ready for Fall weather and opening my windows at night. A trip to Vegas? Fun!

Things are better this week, thank you. Taking some steps to be able to move forward with everything.

It’s raining here. It’s looking like a solid week of the stuff. Time to hunker down and get some inside projects done. Its looking like we may need an ark! Lol

I would be more worried about the air quality. The fires haven't let up and the smoke is awful right now in Northern California. But we are still in peak fire season. In the summer, we don't really get much rain, so everything gets real dry. Its not until we get a couple of rain storms that both put out the fires and green stuff up to make it more difficult to burn, that the air cleans up and that rain might not happen as late as Nov.

So I agree with Sydney postpone the trip to Dec if you can.

Those complaining about the heat can have 52 F Lake Huron water sprayed on your body . I hope you won’t shiver afterwards. I’m waiting for it to go down to 25 so that I can walk on the lake without any fear of falling through. The lake Ice needs to be at least a foot thick before people are allowed to walk on it.
