I do feel for guys who have short hair, because 2 months without a haircut is very noticable on them. According to my mom, my dad is jonesing for his barber, as well. My hair's longer than usual, and could do with a trim, but it doesn't look awful.
They started opening things up here a couple weeks ago. I needed one, it wasn’t bad. But two months was too lo for me. I wore a mask, the person cutting my hair wore a mask. It felt good to be cleaned up.
Haven’t touched my hair for about 6 months nor worn a stitch of make up since Valentines Day. My partner has long hair and a beard. ( Not a fan of either, but it’s his face.) Tomorrow he’s going to get a haircut and he’s going to shave off the bread.... (no pressure from me). I could use a trim and most definitely some color. Lol
I just started to do my own hair coloring (to cover the gray hairs) and hair conditioning treatment myself. I also started cutting my boyfriend hair. We tried to shelter in place for 2 months, but realized we couldn't keep doing that. I learned all that via Youtube. After this Covid-19 is over, everyone will learn some new skills :-)
My fiance is fussing about not being able to get a haircut. I think it looks fine grown out a bit (though I'm not sure he'd be the best candidate for actually LONG hair...) but he is not happy with it. He was a regular of a particular stylist, at a particular place, and the place has been closed for months. He has no idea where to find her to see if she's working anywhere else, and he's now thinking he'll have to find someplace else.
I wish I could help. When my ex was in the military I actually had pretty decent clipper skills for trimming up his military buzz, I was able to even blend it in very nicely in the area above the ears... But I am hopeless with scissors. And that's the kind of cut my fiance needs and wants. I would not dare attempt to trim his hair.
I'm also lucky to be the sort of person who rarely gets a haircut. I can go years without even getting my hair trimmed and it's no big deal at all. It seems like my hair will only go as far as my lower back now, no matter what I do insofar as having it trimmed or not.
I use this Youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9r6-UfbyIl4 to cut my boyfriend's hair with a beard trimmer and a pair of sharp pointed scissors. I only used the trimmer for the back hairline, and around the ears, and scissors for tapering and everywhere else.

Some of the local ladies hereabouts refer to me as "The Silver Fox"...

See how you wimmenz are? Lure him in with hair and makeup until Valentine’s Day and twins, then... “hey-how does it look in sweats?”
Yep, I do the super low maintenance thing as well. May have saved thousands on salons but I'm just a DIYer in every area. Heck I'm DIY plumbing my own bathroom now! (Not a humble brag. Just a regular brag.) Yeah, YouTube tutorials help a whole lot. You can always just put a bowl on his head and cut around it. At least its out of his eyes, and the ends are neat. To heck with sex appeal. This is a pandemic.
My hair is mouse brown and chopped with scissors slighlty below shoulder length.

I am innocent I tell ya! There I was in his bed....minding my own business. ( I was exhausted from putting on all that make up and doing my hair.) Next thing ya know...I can fit into “his” sweats and his dress shirts make excellent maternity dresses. That’s my story and I am stickin to it!

Silver hair is sexy on a man IMO. I like salt and pepper hair.....just not on me.
