Finally got some proper living room furniture, and I got all Pinteresty with the dining table after seeing a set I luuurved at the furniture store but couldn't bear to spend the money on it when what we have is functional. Long story short: the old mismatched chairs are now painted a lovely shade of turquoise, so the mismatching looks intentional and eclectic.

The only caveat is the place came with a cat . I don't know if a previous resident abandoned her or something, but she came walking right in the front door and parked her furry butt on my favorite chair and took a nap. Since then, she comes and goes; if she decides to adopt us permanently, first order of business is to bring her to a vet and make sure she's healthy, doesn't have some weird feline disease, etc.

We have a couple of different cats that run around our complex. One of them is sorta funny, he sometimes looks slightly cross-eyed and we sometimes goof on him a bit. We love him though, he's our next door neighbors cat. We usually always have our front door open and he sometimes sits in front of our screen door looking in and because of his little cross eyes he looks sorta dumb. Not being mean, LOL, you just have to see it... he looks like the village idiot, but still sweet natured. LOL. We have little jokes about him but they are all good natured.

Across the street from us there are a couple of huge black cats and they lay around and flick their tails about. It's funny when their owner comes home they are outside waiting for them and she comes walking up they "escort" her to her apartment. LOL. Funny stuff.

That same cat at my mom's complex, every morning this neighbor woman and her mother will take a walk, and the cat strolls along with them around the complex. He'll get distracted by a bug or something in the grass, and then trot to catch up with them. Cute.

Got to love that Prime Country channel on Sirius. I like 80's and 90's country. Most newer country sorta sucks... trying to hard to be pop music instead of country.

I bust out the old old school Hank Williams on occasion as well.

I'm finding that my sarcasm level is increasing, lately...dunno why...

Maybe it's the frozen dinners loaded with sodium I am having for lunch...
