I have so many projects, it is cool enough to tackle then. Mainly back yard projects. Taking out one or two trees. Rebuilding a retaining wall and fence and build a storage shed.

Right now I rather hang out in the back yard and enjoy the day.

It was almost PB & J for me, but I stopped at Taco Hell. I'm not a fan of cooking just for me.

Yeah, a cold front came through here this afternoon, and it's wonderfully cooler and less humid. I'll be cutting grass tomorrow when it's dry.

Yeah, it sucks, alcohol puts on the pounds for sure. Lot's of calories in the booze.

Try to aim for dropping 500 calories a day out of your daily food intake and you theoretically should drop a pound a week, at least that's what I've always heard. A glass of wine can have 125 calories, so doing the math it goes to show that if you throw back a few too many it certainly adds up.

I lost 5lbs. First week already. I'm not a heavy drinker at all. When I go out I have one or two.My job is active so it helps with the combo of exercise and cutting down my food.

I was having a conversation with my Doc recently and we were talking about weight issues and he was saying that most people get the most bang for their bucks by modifying their diet instead of relying on working out. I was afraid he was gonna say that. I mean we should all strive to be active, for a lot of reasons. I don't think I've ever lost weight by just simply dieting, must not have been strict enough or was drinking too much beer or whatever.

I'm definitely on the path to watching the volume of stuff I eat. I can eat half way decently but I'll eat too much, mostly by eating too fast, you don't really realize just how little you really need to eat to feel satiated. If you eat slower it definitely helps for your body to tell you that you've had enough. It seems like I would eat too fast and wouldn't get the cues that I was full. I've since slowed down a bit more and I rarely have that "stuffed to the gills" feeling like you would get at say Thanksgiving. LOL

Yeah I understand many of my friends eat too fast. I eat slow always have.I savory my food. My problem is I'm a stress eater. When I worry or I'm upset. I'm also up and down on being active on the weekend.
