Congrats to both of them! This sounds like great news for your family. But when you aren't dealing with Covid how hard is it to get relatives to visit their daughter, their sister, their aunt or their cousin with the house in the South of France? Maybe your family works differently than mine, but in mine the relative who moved to the South of France might be a little overwhelmed by the family coming out of the woodwork to stop by and visit.

I was being facetious when I mentioned my brother and his soon to be wife moving here. I would love it, but they’re established and doing quite well for themselves in the US.
My dad was here a couple of weeks ago. He got a negative test, Chartered a plane from Henderson Exec, flew to Teterboro Exec in NJ and on to Avignon and got another negative test. Relatives wise… besides my immediate family ( mom, dad, brother) I have an aunt, uncle and 2 cousins living in Spain. Aunt is mom’s sis, but they’re estranged.
If anything I’d rather fly back to the US with my partner and our boys for a short visit. I will do my best to attend their wedding.
Room wise… we have two houses on the property and an apartment in Paris should we need more room , but it’s a moot point, because we won’t need more room.

Stumbled across a sitcom from the BBC set in Scotland on Netflix.

Two old duffers and the antics they get into. Can't understand but about every third word. Need the subtitles on when watching it.

"Still Game."

Couple of scenes were completely hilarious and way way un-PC. Giggling just thinking about it.

You should check out “The Norsemen” on Netflix”… it’s hilarious, and a little sketchy..depending on your sense of humor.

Yeah, we watched that already. Pretty funny stuff, pretty vulgar at times too.

Best of both worlds.

Nobody was injured!
Last week my friend crashed an airplane that she’d rented. Lost power on take off and was too close to the end to put it down before she over shot the runway, and overshot it she did. Hit a berm at the end and left the plane doing a nose stand at the end.
Minor damaged to the plane, but her ego took a hit. Today I took her up up for the first time since the accident. I did the check list got the plane started, and said…. You have the controls. The flight was uneventful, but she kept drying her hands on her pant legs. after we landed safely, I said, ya know… its not the fall that kills you! it’s the sudden stop at the bottom. She had her MOJO back. She’s lived to fly another day!
