wow 8 years is a long time, I have had 2 four year relationships and a few FWB that were a few months. I am hoping that the new gf I am with will be the one to bury me (not kill me but just get old together)

OP, it is good that you have not had any contact with him, but obviously you are hearing about what he is doing from someone. Cut all ties, delete him from your Facebook and whomever it is that is telling you about what he is doing needs to be told that you are over him and do not want to hear anything about him. Then get on with your life and start living again.
