Yes I have morals. Morals are important to me. Good morals are always a plus.

Unfortunately we are becoming a country with less morals. For some reason many would rather date a baby daddy/baby mama over someone who is a virgin or someone divorced several times over a never married person. I'm not sure why except that the people they are probably attracting are immoral like they are. Or they like the excitement of a person like that. I don't get it.

Oops, I see this is an old thread.

Yes, of course I value morals in a person. It's important to me that we have similar morals should the relationship progress to marriage and having kids. I don't think there with a checklist and interview the person about their morals - we find out about each other from talking/getting to know one another. If our morals don't align, no big deal.

I am wondering about the Lady Turquoise name. I have a tee shirt with that name on it. It was given to me by a DJ who used that moniker. He challenged the audience to request a song and if he didn't have that song, the person would win a shirt. I requested the song, he didn't have it so I got the shirt!
The song was 'After the Lovin' by Englebert Humperdinck.

You're really talking about different things when you're talking about morals.

Are you talking about someone just sleeping around a lot in their youth? That's one thing, because you're really dealing with a relative, sliding scale. In other words, a promiscuous person is someone who has slept with more people than you have.

Or are you talking about someone who is dishonest? That's something completely different. Show me someone who lies about the little things and I'll show you someone who will lie about the big things.

What do morals have to do with baggage? Are you implying that because you've been in a few relationships you automatically have bad morals? Nonsense!

Morals and stuff are only useful if the other person also goes by that code.

If not you will get screwed...try to find someone within your code.

If you go to the church, don't expect someone who doesn't start to go with you, sure she can go with you but often couples break up because the system value is so different from one another.
