I put cream cheese in my mashed potaotoes and love the taste....What else can I do with cream cheese? I'd love to add cream cheese to everything I make....Does anyone have any ideas or recipes for the "everyday use" of cream cheese? Thanks ahead of time.
I cube softened cream cheese and softened butter in the bottom of a dish (sometimes I zap it in the microwave for a few seconds) and pour hot pasta and broccoli over it. Stir it all up, sprinkle a little garlic salt and parmesan on it.
I use it instead of cheddar cheese on my hamburgers.
I flatten chicken breasts, spread cream cheese and garlic on them, roll them up and bake.

I make tortilla roll-ups.
Cream cheese is good with everything
Thanks for all of the ideas and suggestions. It helps....I'll "go crazy" with cream cheese and do a lot of experimenting now. Thanks again....

I recently saw a TV commercial for cream cheese (it was probably for Philadelphia brand, but who cares?) and they showed it being added to a pot of tomato sauce, where it melted and turned the sauce more of a creamy rose' sauce.
I've been meaning to try it myself -- thanks for the reminder!

Slices of deli ham, spread with cream cheese, lay a pickle down the center, roll up and cut into appy servings. Can do the same with roast beef but add some horseradish to the cream cheese.
