Outside of seasonal RE factors which those who are agents explained above, there is the additional lull caused by demand being pulled forward by the expectation the homebuyer's tax credit would end at its original November date.
Makes a slow time slower yet.
As you seem to be noticing, the demand for homes may nationally may be near exhaustion. If you are priced well but there are no buyers, then you do not have a functioning market, and anything short of a fire sale price may not lead to a contract and sale.
